The project’s scope of work included milling the old asphalt layer and laying a new polymer-modified asphalt (PMA) course. Additionally, the project involved installing road studs (reflectors) and pavement marking, under the direct technical supervision of the Naour District Works Office, which is affiliated with the Capital Works Directorate.
The Ministry commenced work on the project in mid-March and completed it within the specified contractual timeframe.
These projects are part of the Ministry’s periodic plans to rehabilitate roads, ensure the sustainability of infrastructure, and provide safe transportation for citizens by enhancing the efficiency of the governorate’s road network and boosting traffic safety standards. This initiative is an extension of the Ministry's annual program to develop vital roadways.
The project was funded by the Capital Governorate Council budget (Decentralization).
