The works include milling and removing damaged asphalt layers, addressing road depressions where necessary, laying new polymer-modified asphalt layers, and implementing traffic safety measures—including road markings and ground reflectors—alongside maintaining concrete elements and expansion joints in accordance with the highest approved technical standards.
These efforts fall under the Ministry's plan to raise the efficiency of the road network, sustain infrastructure, and enhance traffic safety levels by executing a comprehensive program to maintain and rehabilitate main roads in the southern region, contributing to a safe and sustainable road network for users.
The project will be carried out in cooperation and coordination with the Public Security Directorate, following a temporary traffic management plan designed to maintain smooth traffic flow and minimize congestion while ensuring maximum safety for both road users and project workers throughout the execution period.
The Ministry of Public Works and Housing calls on all road users to adhere to traffic signs and warning signals at work sites, follow instructions issued by Ministry personnel and the Public Security Directorate, and practice safe driving habits to ensure the safety of citizens and workers and to guarantee the completion of works according to the scheduled timeframe.
