Members of the 101st Special Battalion, under the King Abdullah II Royal Special Forces Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army, hosted an evening in honor of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, marking the conclusion of his service as Assistant Battalion Commander.

The event, held on Monday, featured martial arts competitions, tug-of-war, various skill demonstrations, and a drone show.
Speaking with the battalion's personnel, the Crown Prince expressed his deep gratitude for his experience with the unit, highlighting the diverse skills he acquired and the strong spirit of military camaraderie.
For his part, the Commander of the King Abdullah II Royal Special Forces praised the Crown Prince's pioneering role in the battalion, noting His Royal Highness's efforts to integrate technology and keep pace with the latest military advancements.
During his service with the battalion, the Crown Prince completed the Special Forces course after passing rigorous training modules. These included survival training, vehicle-based combat and disengagement, combat search and rescue, guerrilla warfare, marksmanship with various medium weapons, tunnel combat, urban operations (fighting in built-up areas), and drone operation qualification.
In November 2025, His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, presented the Crown Prince with the Special Forces Sword Insignia after His Royal Highness successfully completed all requirements during his service in the battalion.
The Crown Prince will now transfer to the Royal Jordanian Air Force to continue his military service.
