The Land Transport Regulatory Commission (LTRC), through the directors of its Irbid and Zarqa offices and with the participation of representatives from the Bus Owners Association, discussed the mechanisms for implementing the "Scheduled Transit" project on the Irbid–Zarqa route with local transport operators.

According to an LTRC statement released on Tuesday, the project aims to upgrade the efficiency of public transport services, improve the quality of service provided to citizens, and ensure the regularity of trip schedules, thereby contributing to the development of the public transportation network. Officials emphasized the importance of cooperating with operators, viewing them as key partners in ensuring the project's success.
The meeting, held at the Commission’s office in Irbid, reviewed the technical and administrative requirements necessary to launch the project. It also provided an opportunity to hear feedback and suggestions from the operators to ensure the project is implemented according to the highest standards, ultimately enhancing the sustainability of the public transport sector and meeting the needs of its users.
