Labor offices and directorates open on Saturdays

AMMAN — The offices of the Ministry of Labor and the Directorate of Domestic Workers will remain open on Saturdays during the regularization period for non-Jordanian workers without valid working permits. These opening hours will continue until September 2, the Jordan News Agency, (Petra), reported.اضافة اعلان

The Labor Ministry indicated that its offices and the Directorate of Domestic Workers will be open from 9am to 4pm on Saturdays. These opening hours are in order to facilitate and expedite applications during the grace period.

The decision comes following a June 25 Cabinet decision to begin deporting all foreign workers who have not ratified their legal status.
