Jordan records 10 deaths, 760 new cases Friday

AMMAN - The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded on Friday reached 10, while a total of 760 new cases were recorded in Jordan, bringing the death toll to 10,020 and the caseload to 770,150.اضافة اعلان


Breaking down Friday's tally, the ministry stated that Amman recorded 399 cases, while Zarqa recorded 123 cases.

Irbid registered 53 cases, while Karak recorded 15 cases.

Balqa recorded 39 cases, while Aqaba recorded 1 and Mafraq recorded 27 cases.

Ajloun registered 42 cases, Tafileh 15, and Jerash 12.

Madaba registered 21 new cases, while Ramtha recorded 4 cases on Friday.

Maan recorded 9 cases.

The ministry added in a statement that some 63 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 100 were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 9,989, according to the Ministry of Health.

Around 3.62 percent of the 20,980 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
