The Ministry's media spokesperson, Mohammad Al-Ziyoud, stated that only 58 days remain of the legalization and status-rectification period approved by the Cabinet last June. He emphasized that there will be no extension to this period, nor will there be any changes to the financial exemptions outlined in the Cabinet's decision.

He noted that the Ministry will intensify inspection visits across various sectors and economic activities in all governorates to apprehend and deport non-Jordanian workers in violation.

Al-Ziyoud highlighted that the Cabinet's decision included financial exemptions to ease the burden on employers and homeowners, while also allowing employers to utilize non-Jordanian labor already present in the market by permitting these workers to transfer between most sectors.
