King Hussein Bridge to operate round-the-clock for trial period

AMMAN — The Bridges Security Department announced on Saturday that the hours for the King Hussein Bridge are to be modified as of Sunday to operate round-the-clock for a trial period, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.اضافة اعلان

The department said on Facebook that the 24-hour system will be in operation for one week only, from November 6 until November 11.

Arab departures and arrivals will be able to cross the bridge anytime, starting at 9am on Sunday, and lasting through 2pm on Friday, November 11.

For diplomats, VIPs, and tourist groups, hours of operation will be from 9am to 9pm as usual throughout the week, except for Friday and Saturday. Commercial (freight) crossing hours will remain as usual.

The Bridges Security Department advised all travelers who wish to enter the West Bank to be at the bridge one hour before their scheduled appointment.
