His Majesty King Abdullah II, during a phone call on Sunday with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, emphasized the need to ensure the implementation of the agreement to end the war in Gaza in all its phases, and to adhere to the ceasefire in order to achieve the desired calm.

His Majesty underscored the importance of intensifying international efforts to respond to the humanitarian situation in Gaza and to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of aid to all areas.
The King warned of the dangers of unilateral measures in the West Bank and Jerusalem, stressing the importance of working to create a political horizon for achieving a just and comprehensive peace based on the two-state solution.
His Majesty expressed appreciation for Norway’s supportive stance on the two-state solution and for its efforts in funding the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).
