Khleifat stated that the committee specialized in supporting agricultural exports has commenced its work, holding regular and periodic meetings to review applications for the export support program according to approved criteria. This follows the Cabinet's decision to extend the fresh fruit and vegetable export support program, which covers 50% of air freight costs and 25% of sea freight costs.

He added that the program's results to date have shown a tangible positive impact on the flow of Jordanian agricultural exports. The number of exporting companies benefiting from the program reached 19, while the total support disbursed to exporters exceeded JD 1.059 million, of which approximately JD 5,200 was allocated to support sea freight.

Khleifat explained that the program has contributed to strengthening the presence of Jordanian agricultural products in several European and international markets, noting that the most prominent importing countries included Sweden, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands, and Denmark. This reflects growing confidence in the quality of Jordanian agricultural products and their ability to compete in foreign markets.

Khleifat pointed out that more than 500 farmers benefited directly from the export support program, emphasizing that the ministry is continuously developing agricultural support and marketing tools to open more foreign markets for Jordanian products. This contributes to improving farmers' income, enhancing the sustainability of the agricultural sector, and increasing its contribution to the national economy.

The minister stressed that supporting exports represents one of the main pillars of the ministry's strategy to advance the agricultural sector by reducing export costs, strengthening agricultural value chains, and achieving the best possible return for farmers and exporters. This consolidates Jordan's position as a reliable exporter of high-quality agricultural products in regional and international markets.
