AMMAN — The Jordanian Association for Boy Scouts and Girl Guides is participating in the World Scout Jamboree, hosted by
South Korea from August 1-12.
A group of 40 scouts and guides are
participating to demonstrate the Association's commitment to involving youth in
international scout events, supporting the development of skills, experiences,
and abilities, and contributing to various fields, Jordan News Agency, Petra
reported.
The World Scout Jamboree is a massive
gathering of scouts that occurs every four years and is hosted by a member
state of the World Organization of the Scout Movement. This event offers
participants a chance to gain practical experience, learn about various
cultures, develop scouting skills, and engage in community service.
