AMMAN — Head of Jordan Olive Products Exporter Association
(JOPEA), Fayyad Zyoud said the Netherlands opened its doors to display the
Kingdom’s olive oil products.

A group of producers of the Kingdom’s high quality virgin
olive oil are scheduled to participate in the 2nd Amsterdam International Olive
Oil Competition on June 1, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, Reported.
The competition brings together olive oil producers from all
over the world to showcase their products to the Dutch market, including
world-renowned judges and Michelin star chefs.
The competition also includes a sophisticated computer
program designed specifically for the competition that provides participants
with a full analysis feedback of their product.
Taste profiles of the olive oil are divided into three
categories: intense, medium, and delicate. Last year’s platinum award winners
included an intense olive from Spain, medium from Italy, and delicate from
Italy.
