On Sunday, the Jordanian Field Hospital (South Gaza/10) organized an open media day, highlighting the efforts of its personnel in providing medical and humanitarian services to residents in the Gaza Strip and easing the burden on operating hospitals, particularly Nasser Medical Complex, while continuing to receive between 700 to 1,000 patients daily.

The force commander emphasized that the "Restoring Hope" initiative has treated hundreds of amputees since its launch, alongside executing the Royal Directive to evacuate sick children for medical treatment in Jordan. Additionally, medical services have expanded with the opening of seven new specialty and emergency clinics in the Tal Al-Hawa area, north of Gaza.
The hospital director explained that operations focus on four main pillars: emergency care, specialized clinics, operating rooms, and the prosthetics department. He noted that thousands of specialized surgical interventions have been performed—including open-heart surgeries—and mentioned that the hospital receives 10 to 15 amputation cases daily. Under the "Restoring Hope" initiative, it successfully fitted approximately 300 artificial limbs over the past two months.
During the media day, the force commander affirmed that medical teams have conducted more than 7,000 surgical procedures since the hospital's opening. He stressed that security risks and challenges in the region will not deter Jordanian personnel from fulfilling their humanitarian and professional duty to support their brothers and sisters in the Gaza Strip.
