Jordan records 494 new COVID-19 cases today

AMMAN — The number of COVID-19 deaths recorded on Friday reached nine, according to the Ministry of Health, while a total of 494 new cases were recorded in the Kingdom on Friday, bringing the death toll to 9,509  and the caseload to 739,015.اضافة اعلان

The ministry added in a statement that some 65 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 48 others were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 9,830, according to the ministry’s statement.

Around  2.85 percent of the 17,327 COVID-19 tests that were conducted today came back positive.
