Jordan records 31 new COVID-19 deaths, 11,254 new cases

Jordan recorded 11,254 new COVID-19 cases and 31 new deaths on Monday, bringing the total death toll to 13,713 and the total number of cases to 1,582,161.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry of Health said that Amman recorded 5,126 cases, while Zarqa recorded 1087 cases. Irbid registered 1205 cases, Balqa 715 cases, Karak recorded 695 cases, Jerash recorded 333 cases, and Tafileh recorded 368 cases. Madaba registered 369 cases, Aqaba 358, Ramtha 190, and Ajloun 207.

The ministry said in a statement that 202 hospitalized COVID-19 patients had recovered and were discharged from hospitals, while 187 new patients were admitted.

The number of active COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom stands at around 153,017 according to the ministry. Out of 52222 COVID-19 tests conducted Monday, 21.55 percent of them came back positive.
