Discussion to center on tri-lateral ties between Jordan, UAE, Israel

AMMAN — A Jordanian ministerial delegation is visiting the United Arab Emirates to discuss cooperation in the fields of energy, water, and the environment as well as ways to confront the global climate crisis. The discussion will center on bilateral ties between Jordan and the UAE as well as tri-lateral ties also involving Israel.اضافة اعلان

Minister of Water Mohamed Najjar, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh, and Minister of Environment Muawiya Radaydah will comprise the Jordanian delegation to the UAE.

The visit includes a trilateral meeting alongside the Emirati minister of industry and advanced technology and special envoy for climate change, Sultan Al-Jaber, and the Israeli Minister of Energy to discuss the Prosperity Project encompassing water and energy sectors, and ways to advance the implementation of the Memorandum of Intent signed by the three parties. These projects are titled Prosperity Blue and Prosperity Green.

The discussions will also touch on the UAE's preparations for hosting the United Nations Climate Change Conference during November and December of 2023.
