Jordan did not participate in US airstrikes in Iraq— JAF official

AMMAN — A military official from the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces- Arab Army (JAF) clarified that the Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) did not take part in the airstrikes carried out by the US Air Force in Iraqi territory, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.اضافة اعلان

The official emphasized that reports circulating in the media about Jordanian aircraft involvement in these operations are inaccurate.

Furthermore, the official reiterated the JAF’s respect for Iraq's sovereignty, underscoring the deep-rooted relations Jordan maintains with all Arab countries.

On Saturday, the US conducted airstrikes against Iran-backed groups in Iraq and Syria in response to an attack on its forces at a US outpost in northeastern Jordan near the Syrian border.
