AMMAN — On Friday, the Speaker of the House, Ahmed Safadi, emphasized that Jordan cannot unilaterally decide on a ceasefire. He stressed the importance of international support for addressing this issue. Safadi underscored that achieving a diplomatic solution to the dire situation in Gaza is only possible if the international community takes a neutral stance between both parties, as reported by Al Mamlaka TV. He also highlighted that, echoing the sentiments of His Majesty King Abdullah, peace and stability in the region are unattainable without the establishment of a Palestinian state.
