Jordan will gradually be affected by a weak weather instability late Saturday, with increasing cloud cover at various altitudes, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.

Temperatures will be mild in most areas and moderate in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. During the late-night hours, intermittent rain showers are expected in northern Jordan, at times accompanied by thunder, potentially causing water to run through low-lying areas and flood channels in the far north.
Westerly winds will be moderate, occasionally becoming active and stirring dust, particularly in the Badia areas.
The Meteorological Department warned of reduced horizontal visibility at times due to dust, especially in the Badia, as well as reduced visibility late at night due to fog over high mountain elevations.
It also warned of possible water runoff in low-lying areas and flood channels in the far north late Saturday night, and slippery roads in areas receiving rainfall.
On Sunday, temperatures are expected to drop noticeably. The weather will be partly cloudy and moderate in most areas, while the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba will experience relatively hot to hot conditions.
Rain showers are expected in northern Jordan and parts of the central regions, with thunderstorms possible in the north. There is also a slight chance that showers could briefly extend to limited parts of the northeastern and southwestern Badia.
Conditions are expected to become more stable after the afternoon, while westerly winds will remain moderate and occasionally active, at times stirring dust, particularly in the Badia.
At night, temperatures will be mild in most areas and moderate in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba, with some low-level clouds. Winds will be northwesterly and moderate, occasionally becoming active.
The Meteorological Department warned of reduced visibility during the morning due to fog over high mountain elevations, as well as occasional dust-related reductions in visibility, particularly in the Badia.
It also cautioned motorists about slippery roads in areas receiving rainfall.
