The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemned on Monday the ongoing Israeli aggressions on the territories of the Syrian Arab Republic, the latest of which involved incursions into the Quneitra and Daraa governorates, alongside artillery shelling targeting the region. The ministry deemed these actions a blatant violation of Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a flagrant breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.اضافة اعلان

The ministry’s official spokesperson, Ambassador Fouad Al-Majali, emphasized the necessity of halting all repeated Israeli aggressions and measures targeting Syria's security and stability. He noted that these actions constitute a violation of the UN Charter, Israel's obligations under the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, and a dangerous, provocative escalation that will only contribute to further conflict and tension in the region.

Al-Majali reaffirmed the Kingdom's unwavering stance in supporting Syria to rebuild on foundations that guarantee its unity, sovereignty, security, stability, and the safety of its territories and citizens, while preserving the rights of all Syrian people.

He called upon the international community to shoulder its legal and moral responsibilities to compel Israel to stop its illegal and provocative aggressions against Syria, end its occupation of part of Syrian territories, and strictly adhere to the rules of international law, resolutions of international legitimacy, state sovereignty, and the principle of non-interference in internal affairs.
