According to the ministry, the completed works covered:

* Al-Kharazah–Al-Dhira Road (4 km)
* Qatraneh Desert Road (2.7 km)
* Qatraneh–Karak Road (7 km)

The project included milling and removing the existing asphalt pavement, laying a new polymer-modified hot asphalt layer, and implementing comprehensive road safety measures, including road markings and the installation of reflective road studs.

The ministry said the works are part of its ongoing nationwide maintenance program aimed at rehabilitating Jordan’s road network, ensuring the sustainability of transport infrastructure, and improving the efficiency of key roads across the Kingdom.

The ministry added that the projects are intended to provide safer and smoother travel for road users, enhance traffic safety, and support the implementation of its long-term annual infrastructure maintenance program.
