Speaker of the House, Mazen Al-Qadi, has called the House of Representatives to convene on Monday to discuss the decision of the Committee on the Response to the Royal Throne Speech, as a precursor to approving the final wording and submitting it to His Majesty King Abdullah II.

The response committee includes the following MPs: Nassar Al-Qaisi, Ali Al-Khalayleh, Faliha Al-Khudair, Hikam Al-Ma’adat, Abdul Basit Al-Kabariti, Mustafa Al-Khasawneh, Huda Nafa’, Hamoud Al-Zawahreh, Amal Al-Shaqran, Hussein Al-Amoush, Samer Al-Azaideh, Ayman Abu Haniya, Arwa Al-Hajaya, Muhammad Salameh Al-Ghweiri, Muhammad Bani Malham, Moayad Al-Alawneh, Zuhair Al-Khashman, Ayman Al-Badawah, Suleiman Al-Saoud, Muhammad Al-Ra’oud, Muhammad Al-Sbayleh, Dima Tahboub, Huda Al-Atoum, Bayan Al-Muhsiri, Basem Al-Rawabdeh, Wissam Al-Rubayhat, Mahmoud Al-Nuaimat, Abdul Raouf Al-Rubayhat, and Rania Abu Rumman.
The subcommittee responsible for drafting the response includes Hussein Al-Amoush (Chair), Dima Tahboub (Rapporteur), Arwa Al-Hajaya, Rania Abu Rumman, Ayman Al-Badawah, Faliha Al-Khudair, Muhammad Al-Sbayleh, and Abdul Raouf Al-Rubayhat.
Members elected Nassar Al-Qaisi as committee chair and Arwa Al-Hajaya as rapporteur. From among themselves, the committee also formed a drafting team, selecting Hussein Al-Amoush as chair and Dima Tahboub as rapporteur.
