The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced a collaboration with Google, under the initiatives of the National Council for Future Technology, to provide all university students in Jordan with free access for one year to the paid version of Google Gemini, one of the world’s most advanced generative AI tools.

In a statement released Monday, the ministry said that students will be able to activate the offer using their personal Gmail accounts, after verifying their current enrollment status.
The ministry emphasized that equipping university students with AI-powered tools contributes to developing skills, enhancing innovation, and supports the vision of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II to integrate artificial intelligence into education.
Students will gain access to the Gemini 2.5 Pro model, which includes specialized learning features such as deep research, content generation (text, images, and videos), and the NotebookLM tool designed for researchers. The package also provides 2 terabytes of cloud storage on Google Drive and Google Photos.
All university students in Jordan aged 18 and above can register for the free one-year subscription starting from the registration date and before December 9, via the following website:
