Health ministry explores ways to increase cooperation prospects with UNICEF

AMMAN — Ministry of Health for Primary Health Care and Epidemiology, Dr Raed Al-Shboul, discussed with the Director of Health Programs at UNICEF Headquarters, Dr Aboubacar Kampo, ways to increase cooperation opportunities with the organization in the field of improving Jordan’s primary healthcare services, according to Jordan News Agency, Petra.    According to the ministry’s statement on Thursday, the two sides reviewed the various cooperation stages and the achievements made by UNICEF’s continuous support to the Kingdom in the field of strengthening primary healthcare services and developing the efficiency of infrastructure of the national vaccination program.    Shboul and Kampo also stressed the importance of “strategic” partnership and the continued joint coordination and cooperation to support the various Ministry of Health programs.
