In a statement, the Ministry said that the amount of rainwater that entered the dams during the weather system—from Thursday evening until Sunday morning—reached 1.8 million cubic meters.

According to the statement, most of the inflow was recorded at Wala Dam, with 400,000 cubic meters, raising its total storage to 5.3% of its full capacity of 25 million cubic meters.

The remaining quantities were distributed across various dams in differing amounts, except for the Unity Dam, which did not record any inflow. This brings the total storage in the main dams to 43 million cubic meters, representing 15% of their total capacity of 288.128 million cubic meters, compared to 57 million cubic meters (20%) previously.

The Ministry added that it activated emergency plans during the weather system and handled 1,804 complaints, the majority of which were related to sewage overflow.
