Final achievement exams for the first semester begin on Thursday for students in basic education and for 11th and 12th grades in public schools across the Kingdom, in accordance with the school calendar announced by the Ministry of Education. The exams will continue until Thursday, January 8, 2026.

According to the Ministry of Education, the second semester in public schools will start on Sunday, January 25, 2026. Final second-semester exams for 12th-grade students will be held from Wednesday, May 6, 2026, until Sunday, May 24, 2026, while exams for basic education students and 11th graders will run from Saturday, June 6, 2026, until Thursday, June 25, 2026.
In private schools, first-semester final exams will take place from Thursday, December 11, 2025, until Wednesday, December 31, 2025, followed by the winter break from Sunday, January 4, 2026, through Saturday, January 31, 2026.
The ministry stated that the total number of students in public and private schools ranges between 2.2 million and 2.3 million, including schools affiliated with the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) and military culture schools.
These exams come as part of the Ministry of Education’s efforts to ensure the smooth completion of the educational process and to achieve solid academic attainment for students across all grade levels.
