AMMAN— Jordan denounced Houthis' ongoing attempts to target
civilians in Saudi Arabia. The most recent attempt was drones launched towards
"civilian targets" in the kingdom's southern region, intercepted and
destroyed by the Arab coalition forces.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Daifallah Fayez affirmed Jordan’s strong
condemnation and denunciation of this "cowardly terrorist act" and
the targeting of innocent civilians, which is a flagrant violation of
international humanitarian law.
Mr Fayez stated that any threat to
Saudi Arabia is condemned, and regarded as a threat to regional security.
