FM condemns Houthi attempts to target areas in Saudi Arabia

AMMAN— Jordan denounced Houthis' ongoing attempts to target civilians in Saudi Arabia. The most recent attempt was drones launched towards "civilian targets" in the kingdom's southern region, intercepted and destroyed by the Arab coalition forces. Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Daifallah Fayez affirmed Jordan’s strong condemnation and denunciation of this "cowardly terrorist act" and the targeting of innocent civilians, which is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law. Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Daifallah Fayez affirmed Jordan’s strong condemnation and denunciation of this "cowardly terrorist act" and the targeting of innocent civilians, which is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.
