Cybersecurity Center Warns of Fake Amman Municipality Links

The National Cybersecurity Center on Saturday warned of fraudulent text messages sent to mobile phones impersonating the Greater Amman Municipality and claiming that recipients have outstanding violations requiring payment.اضافة اعلان

The center urged the public not to click on any links before verifying that they belong to the municipality’s official website.

It said the links are fraudulent and are being used to impersonate the Greater Amman Municipality and defraud citizens.
