Jordanian Customs authorities, acting on information received by the Customs Intelligence Directorate and in coordination with the Anti-Smuggling Directorate and the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA), uncovered an unlicensed laboratory inside a home in eastern Amman used to manufacture and package sexual enhancement products, cosmetic injections, pharmaceutical preparations and medical injection supplies that had not been approved for circulation.

Authorities also seized a honey-based food product containing active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), along with raw chemical materials and equipment used in manufacturing and packaging operations.
An official seizure report was prepared, and the confiscated materials were transferred to the Jordan Food and Drug Administration to complete the necessary legal procedures in accordance with applicable legislation.
The seizure is part of Jordanian Customs’ efforts to strengthen governance and uphold the rule of law by preventing the circulation of unlicensed products. The department said the operation reflects its commitment to integrity, effective oversight and institutional excellence, while placing public health and safety at the center of its work and ensuring that only safe and approved products reach the market.
