The statistical report on the criminal situation in the Kingdom for last year (2025) recorded a noticeable decline, reaching 23,021 crimes, including felonies and misdemeanors, compared to 23,982 crimes in the previous year, a difference of 961 crimes, representing a 4.01% decrease.

As a result of the decline in crime numbers across the Kingdom, the average time interval for committing a crime increased, reaching one felony or misdemeanor every 22 minutes and 50 seconds, whereas in 2024, a crime or misdemeanor occurred every 21 minutes and 59 seconds.
The total number of crimes committed against persons last year decreased to 1,266 crimes, compared to 1,352 crimes in 2024.
The number of premeditated murder cases last year also declined by 9 cases compared to the previous year, reaching 41 murder cases across the Kingdom, while in 2024 there were 52 premeditated murder cases.
As for intentional homicide cases, their number increased by one case during last year, reaching 41 cases, compared to 40 homicide cases in 2024.
The total number of fatal assault cases also increased to 6 cases last year, compared to 3 cases in 2024.
Regarding manslaughter cases, they rose to 54 cases last year, while in 2024 there were 34 cases.
Attempted murder cases recorded a decline in 2025, reaching 275 cases, compared to 292 cases in 2024.
Cases of grievous bodily harm also decreased last year to 849 cases, while in 2024 they reached 931 cases.
