AMMAN — The Aqaba Special Economic Zone (ASEZA) on
Monday announced that all permits for movement during curfew issued by the
authority will be null as of Sunday, May 16, and new permits will be issued for
those who received at least one shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.
ASEZA noted that the permits that will be revoked include
those granted for the provision of services for the sectors of tourism,
transportation, clearance and maritime, manufacturing, and logistics.
The new permits, according to ASEZA, will be granted based
on a certificate proving the administration of at least one vaccine jab.
