The Al-Maqasid Charity Hospital, affiliated with the Zakat Fund at the Ministry of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites, held a free medical day in the Abu Nuseir area, providing services to 267 patients.

The medical day was organized as part of the preaching and guidance forums sponsored by Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Sites Dr. Mohammad Al-Khalayleh. It was attended by Director General of the Zakat Fund Dr. Abdul Samirat and Deputy Chairman of the hospital’s Board of Directors Sheikh Saleh Al-Faqih.
A team of doctors specializing in several medical fields participated in the event, providing medical and laboratory examinations and dispensing the necessary medicines and treatments free of charge.
Pregnant women also benefited from ultrasound examinations and received the necessary medical advice and treatment.
The hospital said that the number of beneficiaries from its free medical days since the beginning of the year has reached 5,761 patients, through 18 medical days held during the year.
The organization of these medical days is part of Al-Maqasid Charity Hospital’s plan to provide free medical services and healthcare to local communities, with support from the Zakat Fund, while expanding access to healthcare for beneficiaries across different parts of the Kingdom.
