AAPM honors Jordanian doctor

AMMAN — The American Association of Physicists in Medicine has awarded Jordanian Physician Ahmad Al-Basheer an honorary certificate in recognition of his outstanding efforts in the advancement of medical physics, Al-Ghad News reported. This event took place at the association’s annual meeting on Monday, in Washington DC. Dr Basheer is the first Jordanian to receive this honorary certificate in the field of therapeutic physics; his Jordanian colleague Dr Adel Mustafa had received a similar honorary certificate in diagnostic physics.
