AMMAN — The number of fraud cases rose to 3,550 in 2021,
compared to 2,700 cases in 2020, according to data issued by the Department of Statistics and cited by Al-Mamlaka TV.
It is the highest
recorded amount of such cases since 2017.
According to police, there were 66 cases of
counterfeiting money, which is a five-year low.
