Announcement of Winners of Orange Social Venture Prize (OSVP) in its 9th Edition and Their Qualification for the Global Stage
Orange Jordan concluded the local 9th edition of the Orange Social Venture Prize (OSVP) in a ceremony held at the Innovation Hub – Orange Digital Village, where the three winners were announced.

After a strong competition that featured ten innovative projects presented before the judging panel:

First place went to the project “Hi Health-Technologies”, founded by Wisam Al-Qatawneh, an innovative health initiative to combat diabetes using advanced tools and technologies. The project received a prize of 4,000 Jordanian dinars.

Second place was awarded to “Recycle of CO₂”, founded by Ahmad Al-Khawaldeh, which relies on a patented technology to recycle carbon dioxide emissions from industrial combustion and convert them into high-purity organic fertilizers using electrochemical filtration. The project received a prize of 2,500 dinars.

Third place went to “EyeLocate”, founded by Lynn Al-Madanat, a technological solution to protect dementia patients from wandering or getting lost, through iris scanning technology linked to a secure national database that enables authorities to quickly identify missing individuals and contact their families. The project received a prize of 1,500 dinars.

On this occasion, Orange Jordan expressed its pride in the outstanding level of the participating projects, affirming that the entrepreneurs in this edition represent a model of creativity aimed at addressing social challenges through digital and technological solutions. The company renewed its commitment to continue supporting and empowering them to reach broader horizons locally and globally. It also extended sincere appreciation to the judging panel for their efforts in selecting the most innovative and applicable initiatives, congratulating the winners and looking forward to seeing their future achievements.

The three winners will now advance to compete in the global edition of the prize, which brings together entrepreneurs from 17 countries across the Middle East and Africa. The final competition will be held in Cape Town, South Africa, with prizes of up to €25,000 for first place, €15,000 for second place, and €10,000 for third place, in addition to the €20,000 Global Women’s Prize.

It is worth noting that Jordan has achieved notable successes in previous global editions, most recently with entrepreneur Sawsan Al-Labbani’s project “iRole” winning the Global Women’s Prize in 2024, and the project SMART WTI securing third place in 2023.
