Kasba bags gold in Czech Republic

AMMAN — National boxer, Obada Al-Kasba, on Saturday won gold as the International Czech Boxing Championship came to a close. اضافة اعلان
 Kasba made gold (under 69kg weight group) after scoring his third win in the championship. 

Jordan’s Ziad Ishaish scored bronze (under 75kg weight group) after winning two fights and losing in the semifinal against Italian, Salvatore Cavallaro. 

Jordan’s Mohammad Al-Wadi (under 63kg weight group), Oday Al-Hindawi (under 81kg weight group) and Hussein Ishaish (under 91kg weight group) all left the competition after losing their first respective fights.

The Kingdom’s appearance in the competition is part of ongoing preparations for the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, which are scheduled to run from July 23 to August 8, for which the give boxers qualified during the qualifiers held in Jordan last year.
