Wehdat requests external referee for Faisaly match

AMMAN — Al-Wehdat’s administrative committee has contacted the Jordan Football Association (JFA), requesting the appointment of external referees to preside over their Pro League match against Al-Faisaly on July 21.اضافة اعلان

The club attributed the request to “mistakes” referees made during Wehdat’s matches against Al-Jaleel in the Jordan Shield Cup and against Al-Salt in the ongoing Pro League, which were acknowledged by the referring committee.

Wehdat spokesperson, Mohammad Ghannam, said the club has filed an official complaint with the JFA about the performance of the referee who presided over the team’s match against Al-Hussein Irbid, noting that his “indecision” caused tension among the players.
