Current Shabab Al-Ordon player Khaldoun Sabra has filed an official complaint with the Football Federation against his former club Al-Hussein Irbid, seeking the remainder of financial dues owed to him by the club.

Sabra told "Al-Ghad" that his complaint came after not receiving the financial dues agreed upon with Al-Hussein Irbid, noting that the matter dates back to the start of last season, when he signed his contract with the club.
He explained that the agreement reached with Al-Hussein Irbid upon signing stipulated he would receive a signing bonus of 10,000 dinars, but he has yet to receive this amount, despite a full year having passed since the payment was due.
Sabra said that not receiving his financial dues throughout this period pushed him to pursue official channels and file a complaint with the Football Federation, hoping to reach a resolution that would settle the matter and secure his financial rights.
Regarding his experience with Al-Hussein Irbid, Sabra explained that he didn't get sufficient playing time during his time with the team, which ultimately led him to decide to terminate his contract and seek a new experience that would give him a greater opportunity to participate and prove himself on the pitch.
He noted that he was, at the time, one of the forwards for the Olympic national team, and was looking forward to getting a real opportunity with his club, expressing his surprise at not being given more playing time, especially during the period when coach Ney Franco was head of Al-Hussein Irbid's technical staff.
Sabra added that his primary desire was to get an opportunity to play and participate consistently, especially since a player needs match minutes to maintain his level and develop his abilities, which pushed him to seriously consider a new experience after leaving Al-Hussein.
Sabra revealed that Al-Faisaly had been close to signing him at the start of last season, explaining that negotiations between the two parties reached agreement on various details, before Al-Hussein Irbid entered the negotiations, ultimately leading him to decide to join their ranks instead.
Sabra explained that his choice of Al-Hussein Irbid at the time came due to the team's participation in the AFC Champions League, which encouraged him to take on the experience, before things unfolded differently than he expected, particularly regarding playing opportunities and getting sufficient minutes.
Sabra noted that what happened made him more cautious in his future decisions, affirming that a player should carefully study his options before making a final decision about his future, and that all matters should be clear for both him and the club.
Regarding his move to Shabab Al-Ordon, Sabra confirmed he received several domestic offers during the transfer period, including offers from Al-Wehdat and Dhuqara, alongside offers from other clubs, but ultimately preferred to choose Shabab Al-Ordon.
He explained that his choice of Shabab Al-Ordon came for several reasons, most notably the presence of a large group of young players within the team's squad, alongside the fact that most of the team's players had played together the previous season, giving the team a state of technical stability and cohesion among the players.
He added that having a cohesive group of players who had played together for a long time helps the team enter the new season better prepared and gives it a better chance of achieving good results.
He also noted that having a foreign coach at the helm of the technical staff was among the reasons that encouraged him to choose Shabab Al-Ordon, explaining that the coach has no prior knowledge of the players, meaning playing opportunities will be tied to each player's level and performance in training and matches.
Sabra explained that this gives him a sense of comfort, since, in his view, the player most deserving of playing time is the one who asserts himself on the pitch, away from any other considerations, affirming that he's looking for an environment that gives him a fair chance to compete for a starting spot.
He affirmed that the atmosphere within Shabab Al-Ordon is very good, and that the players and technical staff are in a state of harmony, expressing optimism about the team's ability to deliver a good season and compete strongly for good positions in the Professional League.
Sabra revealed a significant personal ambition heading into the new season: competing for the Professional League's top scorer title, affirming that he seeks to make the most of the opportunity he's received with Shabab Al-Ordon and give his best during matches.
He noted that his goal isn't limited to just participating, but that he aims to score as many goals as possible, help his team achieve positive results, and develop his level while regaining a stronger presence on the local scene.
