Two Tenders Announced for Wheat and Barley Purchases
The Jordanian Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Supply has issued two separate tenders to purchase 100,000 to 120,000 metric tons of wheat and barley, respectively. The first tender is for wheat, and interested parties are invited to obtain a copy of the tender documents — which include full terms and specifications — from the Tenders Department, for a non-refundable fee of 650 Jordanian Dinars. The deadline for submitting bids is 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17. The second tender is for barley under similar conditions, with the submission deadline set for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18. Participation Requirements: For both tenders, the Ministry requires bidders to provide: A valid vocational license. A certified commercial registration document issued no more than 30 days prior to the bid opening date. A valid certificate of registration from the Chamber of Commerce. These procurements are part of Jordan's ongoing efforts to secure strategic reserves of staple grains and ensure food security across the Kingdom.
