Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan on Wednesday received at the Prime Ministry the Chairman of the Saudi Chambers of Commerce, Hassan bin Mujib Al-Huwaizi.

During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the deep, brotherly relations between the two countries and their wise leaderships, as well as the shared commitment to strengthening and expanding ties in various fields, particularly economic, trade, and investment cooperation.
The discussions highlighted the importance of the Jordanian-Saudi Business Forum, which kicked off in Amman today, organized by the Jordan Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Federation of Saudi Chambers. The forum serves as a platform to explore new horizons for cooperation between business leaders and investors from both countries, in a way that supports shared interests and strengthens economic, trade, and investment relations.
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of maintaining communication and fostering partnerships between the private sectors in both countries, as this helps create a supportive business environment, encourages joint economic initiatives, facilitates trade and investment exchanges, and promotes the sharing of expertise for the benefit of both nations.
For his part, Al-Huwaizi expressed gratitude to Jordan for hosting this important forum, stressing the Saudi private sector’s keenness to deepen cooperation with Jordan across various fields, contributing to a stronger business, trade, and investment climate in both countries.
The forum is attended by a large Saudi delegation of business leaders and investors led by Al-Huwaizi, along with representatives from several ministries and government agencies, including the Ministries of Economy, Industry, and Investment, and the General Authority for Foreign Trade.
Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, Eng. Yarub Qudah, also attended the meeting.
