Al-Daoud added that this national project—launched by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and Jordan Post, in cooperation with the Royal Jordanian Geographic Center—represents a strategic step toward creating a comprehensive national database for digital postal addresses. It aims to build a secure, advanced digital infrastructure that improves the quality, efficiency, and speed of government services provided to citizens across the Kingdom.

Hanadi Al-Tayeb, Director General of Jordan Post, confirmed that the project allows every citizen to obtain a free digital postbox. This serves as a documented personal postal address linked to the geographical location of their home, in accordance with the Universal Postal Union (UPU) postal codes. Citizens can use it for correspondence, parcel reception, government services, and facilitating e-commerce operations and deliveries.

Al-Tayeb noted that the Digital Postbox service will soon be integrated into the "Sanad" app, enabling citizens to easily create and manage their digital addresses. This will improve the efficiency of delivering vital documents, passports, medicines, and various government services.

She further explained that the project is part of national efforts to unify postal addresses in the Kingdom, providing a standardized and approved digital address for various logistical transactions. This is expected to boost online shopping and open new global markets where the postbox number is an essential component of the purchasing process.
