Zelenskyy: Ukraine Wants Peace but Won’t Surrender

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Monday that his country wants peace but will not surrender easily, stressing that Ukraine will never give up the Donbas region in exchange for ending the war.اضافة اعلان

Speaking on Ukraine’s Independence Day, Zelenskyy called on allies to impose additional sanctions on Russia to pressure Moscow into returning to the negotiating table.

Zelenskyy stressed that Ukraine was not asking the United States to defend it, but said the country needed to be provided with the necessary means to defend itself.
