The Paris Public Prosecutor’s Office has confirmed, via BFMTV, that the home of former French President and current member of the National Assembly François Hollande was burglarized.

According to the channel, Paris police have apprehended suspects in the case.
BFMTV reported: “The home of François Hollande and his wife, Julie Gayet, in Paris was robbed on November 22. According to our information, among the stolen items were expensive watches. Detectives from the second judicial police district were able to trace the suspected thieves and arrest them.”
The channel added that two young Algerian men have been charged with the theft and taken into custody. Reports indicate that police found one of the stolen watches during a search and have returned it to Hollande.
Hollande served as President of France from 2012 to 2017 and has been a member of the National Assembly since July 2024.
