Former Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, is reportedly experiencing significant anxiety and stress amid uncertainty over her future and residence with Prince Andrew at Windsor, according to the British newspaper Daily Mail.اضافة اعلان

Close friends of Ferguson revealed that she feels she “has nowhere to go and no one to go with”, as negotiations continue regarding their departure from Royal Lodge, a 30-room property classified as Grade II in the Windsor Royal Gardens.

Reports indicate that King Charles has urged his brother to vacate the lodge, which Andrew has leased since 2004 following the death of their mother, the Queen Mother. Andrew invested £7.5 million in renovating the property and currently resides there, paying only a nominal annual rent.

Negotiations may result in Andrew relocating to Frogmore Cottage (previously designated for Harry and Meghan), while Ferguson could move to Adelaide Cottage, currently occupied by Crown Prince William and Princess Kate.

However, close friends of the former couple strongly denied that they requested separate residences, calling such claims misleading. Sources within the royal household reportedly stated that they do not recognize this version of events.

Although the King has no legal obligation toward the former Duchess of York, some suggest he may prefer to keep her within the royal circle to prevent her from publishing further memoirs revealing private family details. Ferguson has previously released memoirs in 1996 and 2011.

Ferguson is also facing personal challenges, including health struggles following diagnoses of breast and skin cancer, and ongoing reputational issues due to her past association with convicted American businessman Jeffrey Epstein. A leaked email revealed her apologizing for not publicly disassociating from him after his 2008 conviction. Close friends say the scandal has negatively affected her reputation and business ventures.

Prince Andrew, meanwhile, continues to face scrutiny over his relationship with Epstein, particularly following allegations in Virginia Giuffre’s memoir, “Nobody’s Girl,” which he strongly denies. Sources indicate that discussions about their future residences have reached an advanced stage, but no final decision has been made.

Royal sources also suggest that, despite his generally kind demeanor, King Charles is growing impatient and aims to resolve the costly Royal Lodge situation without triggering another public scandal.
