According to CBS News, rescue teams are continuing their operations along the Guatemaly River, which experienced a sudden surge in water levels on Friday, reaching the height of a two-story building.

Local officials reported that around 20 children from the Mystic Summer Camp in Kerr County are still unaccounted for.

Of the confirmed fatalities, 68 were reported in Kerr County alone, according to County Sheriff Larry Leitha, who warned that the number may increase in the coming days.

Data indicates that the victims include 40 adults and 28 children, 10 of whom have not yet been identified.

Texas Governor issued warnings about heavy rainfall expected to continue through Tuesday, which could trigger additional flooding, especially in already saturated areas.

In a rapidly developing situation, emergency alerts were issued in Kerr County warning of imminent river flooding. However, officials later announced that the situation had stabilized as of Monday.
