Netanyahu: I Nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he has nominated former U.S. President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

During a meeting with Trump at the White House on Monday, Netanyahu stated:اضافة اعلان
"I would like to present to you the letter I sent to the Nobel Committee. It nominates you for the Peace Prize. You deserve it, and you should receive it."

Netanyahu expressed high appreciation for Trump’s efforts "to achieve peace and security around the world, especially in the Middle East."

Trump had previously voiced doubts about whether he would ever be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, though he maintained that he deserves it.

It is worth noting that four U.S. presidents have received the Nobel Peace Prize in the past:

Jimmy Carter in 2002
