Under the Pretext of Security... Israel Continues Closing Al-Aqsa Mosque for the 24th Consecutive Day
Israeli occupation authorities continue to close the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem, preventing worshippers from reaching it for the 24th consecutive day. The closure is being enforced under the pretext of security conditions related to the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran.اضافة اعلان

This arbitrary and unjustified measure is considered a dangerous precedent; Al-Aqsa Mosque has not witnessed such a comprehensive closure or a total deprivation of religious rites during the month of Ramadan since 1967.

Occupation forces had previously prevented worshippers from performing Tarawih prayers in several neighborhoods of occupied Jerusalem, deploying heavily around Damascus Gate (Bab al-Amud) and Herod’s Gate (Bab al-Sahira), forcing crowds to disperse to prevent any prayer gatherings.

These restrictions coincide with a massive security deployment around the mosque and the Old City, where occupation forces have imposed strict movement controls, closed several gates, and banned gatherings. The measures have even affected Awqaf (Endowment) employees, whose numbers have been severely restricted, directly impacting the daily administration of the mosque’s affairs.

This closure occurs within a broader context of escalating restrictions, coinciding with a total lockdown on the West Bank and rising regional tensions.
