Several people were injured after the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) targeted Syrian army positions and residential homes in the areas of Ain al-Arab and the subdistrict of Sarrin using suicide drones, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

SANA reported that the SDF used more than 25 FPV-type suicide drones in the attacks.
The Syrian army’s Operations Directorate said the escalation by the SDF also resulted in the destruction of four military vehicles.
The Operations Directorate added that the group also targeted the M4 highway and surrounding villages several times, leading to injuries among a number of civilians.
It confirmed that the Syrian army is currently studying its field options in response to the targeting of civilians and its deployment sites and will take the necessary measures.
On Saturday, the Ministry of Defense announced the extension of the ceasefire across all sectors of Syrian army operations for an additional 15 days, in support of the U.S.-led operation to evacuate ISIS terrorist detainees from SDF-run prisons to Iraq.
