Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Badr Abdel-Aati, will deliver Egypt’s speech at the 80th UN General Assembly session, while Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly will lead the Egyptian delegation at the opening of the Assembly and the planned Two-State Solution conference this week in New York.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on Sunday that Abdel-Aati traveled to New York to participate in the High-Level Week of the 80th session of the General Assembly. He will deliver Egypt’s speech, hold bilateral meetings with foreign ministers and heads of delegations, and participate in a number of high-level side events and activities.

The Prime Minister’s Office announced that Madbouly departed for New York to head the Egyptian delegation at the Two-State Solution conference and the opening of the high-level segment of the General Assembly. His agenda includes participating in the opening session and delivering two speeches: one at the high-level meeting celebrating the 30th anniversary of the World Conference on Women, and the other at the international high-level conference on the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue and implementation of the Two-State Solution.

Additionally, Madbouly will hold several bilateral meetings with leaders of friendly and sister countries, representatives of regional and international organizations, and attend multiple side events.
