The society reported that the IOF arrested approximately 5,875 Palestinians, including 355 children and 200 women, in the West Bank during the past 100 days, as per Khaberni.

The statement by the PPS corresponds to those made by Israel's Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir.

"Since the beginning of the war, we have distributed 50,000 weapons to Israelis," he went on to say. "We still have 130,000 pending arms requests that we have not yet reviewed."

According to various news sources, since October 7, 2023, there has been a surge in the number of Israeli settlers storming the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem and attacking Palestinians.
